Emergency situations can be overwhelming and critical. Being equipped with the knowledge of how to react during instances of cardiac arrest is crucial as immediate action like CPR can significantly impact the outcome. Early intervention for cardiac arrest victims before Emergency Medical Services arrive can greatly improve their chances of survival.

ReLIVe Responder: Cardiac Arrest is a tool designed to help users gain essential skills such as recognizing cardiac arrest, calling 911 promptly, providing clear and relevant information to 911 dispatch, understanding the fundamentals of hands-only CPR, and effectively handing over the care to EMS personnel while disengaging from the emergency call.

This application is a product of ReLIVe, a project initiated by the University of Pittsburgh Resuscitation Logistics and Informatics Venture. The development of this project has been made possible through generous funding from the Henry L. Hillman Foundation and is operated under the jurisdiction of the University of Pittsburgh Department of Emergency Medicine.
